Services

At Tiny Steps Therapy, we offer a range of services designed to support individuals, families, and organisations through a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach.

Occupational Therapy

At Tiny Steps Therapy, we honour the strengths, needs, and autonomy of neurodivergent individuals. Our occupational therapy services are designed to be affirming, collaborative, and adaptable to each person’s unique way of engaging with the world.

Our Approach:

  • Sensory Processing & Regulation: Supporting individuals in understanding and embracing their sensory needs in ways that work for them.

  • Daily Life & Independence: Building skills and strategies to navigate daily tasks in ways that feel natural and empowering.

  • Authentic Social Connection: Encouraging meaningful interactions based on individual interests, communication styles, and boundaries.

  • Communication Advocacy: Recognising and supporting all forms of communication, ensuring everyone is heard and understood.

  • Executive Function Support: Co-developing strategies for organisation, transitions, and task management that align with an individual’s strengths.

We offer in-person therapy as well as telehealth sessions to ensure accessibility. As professionals with lived experience, we prioritise creating a safe, validating space where each individual is supported to thrive on their own terms.

Report Writing &
Assessments

At Tiny Steps Therapy, our reports are neuroaffirming, strengths-based, and tailored to advocate for the support each individual needs. We focus on highlighting abilities, validating challenges, and ensuring recommendations align with the person’s lived experience.

We Provide:

  • NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments: Comprehensive reports to support NDIS funding applications and reviews.

  • Sensory & Functional Assessments: Strengths-focused evaluations that explore sensory processing, daily living skills, and executive functioning.

  • School & Workplace Reports: Practical recommendations for accommodations and adjustments to foster success in education and employment.

  • Supporting Letters & Advocacy Documents: Clear, professional documentation to help individuals access the supports they need.

Our reports are designed to amplify the individual’s voice, ensuring their unique strengths, needs, and goals are recognised in every setting.
